I guess I should update this. I sold the XTi and bought a Canon 5D Mark II. Then I sold the lenses and bought a Canon 135 mm L, Canon 85 no L (I couldn't justify the extra 1k+ for an F stop), and a Tamron zoom. Next on my wish list is the Canon 100 mm L with the macro. Aseries of unfortunate events has kept me from using is yet. I took it to Mt Ranier and couldn't find parking and it started raining. So I drove back down to get the shack in Elbe. They tore it down. I went home. The next time I took it out I couldn't focus, thought something was wrong with my camera. It turned out to be my eyes. After waiting 2 months for my glasses I went to

I finally bit the bullet and bought a digital SLR.  I really didn't want to, but its more cost-effective.  The good news is, my old Canon will be used for B&W only.  I picked up a few rolls of Fuji Neopan 400 and will be heading to the Nisqually Wildlife Refuge this weekend. I ordered a Canon Rebel (what else would a country boy get??!!) XTi.  I got a Tamron 28-80 Di (3.5-5.6) and a Tamron 70-300 Di (4-5.6).  A few extras as well, including a 4 gig memory card.  Remember when 4 gigs was a kick ass hard drive :) It arrives early next week, so judging by the book I saw on it at the camera store, I'll be ready to use it sometime next year :)

My Most Amazing Experience Driving to the stadium I really wasn't sure what to expect.  I was tasked to photograph fans and cheerleaders at the Seattle Seahawks game on Christmas Eve.  The opponent was the Indianapolis Colts, a game I had wanted to see but was sold out and ticket prices on Ebay were prohibitive.  I was set to watch the game at Thunderbird Cigars, having a good time among brothers.
